40 by 40

With all my upcoming travel. I decided that I'm going to challenge myself to visit 40 countries by my 40th birthday. I'm 35 now and as of now and have 7 countries under my belt. That means I have 5 years to visit 33 countries. Already have Costa Rica lined up for this year and am contemplating a solo trip Thanksgiving week, just haven't fully committed to where yet, but I have a few ideas.

Fast Forward 3 years...

I started writing this post in January of 2020. Before Covid hit. It's February 2023 now, and the Costa Rica trip and Thanksgiving week trip didn't happen. I'm giving myself an extra 2 years to accomplish my 40 countries. So, 40 countries by my 42nd birthday. I'm 38 now. I was at 7 countries in 2020 when I first started this post, I'm now at 13 and country 14, Morocco, is next month!
